The Green Machine

On a recent visit to my old stomping grounds, Vancouver, I met up with a friend who has a local ATM Business. Maximizing on that business, said friend converted his old-school VW van in to a mobile bank machine! All the way down to the license plate which reads: "GOT 20". This van can be seen driving around town on business, or parked at festivals, freshly loaded with 20's, and all sustainably powered by a solar panel mounted on the roof rack (for the on-board ATM). Genius.

another foreign car

This is one of the nicest Mini's I've seen in a while, except for any new ones friends have recently bought of course.
The strong Orange, the slammed ride height, the protruding fenders, the single centre mounted exhaust, the list can go on forever. I love this car.

foreign places, foreign cars

It's strange how when you go to different places in the world, the way that people always modify their cars. Back in Milan, the last place I'd think to see a low grade mod performed - on a German car - was just that. Tinted headlights on a blue/grey Porsche 993. I know it's common for people in European city centres to drive with their "city lights" on, but tinting them?

Milano

Everything stylish, everything colourful, well, not everything, but perhaps in its own way.
Walking through Milan last week whilst enjoying a lovely Icelandic Volcanic vacation, I couldn't help but notice all the people, so extremely well dressed, and also the surroundings of all things colourful.
For example, a woman in a red coat, and a bicycle in green. Simple, everyday things, but beautiful in their own right.
